Wie kamen Sie zum Hutdesign?
Hüte sind seit jeher meine
Leidenschaft. Als Kostümdesignerin
lernte ich das Hutmachen
vor Ort im Theater. Was
ist das Besondere an Ihren
Hüten? Es sind alles Unikate
mit wertvollen Jugendstil- und
Art Deko Schmuckstücken,
Garnituren mit handgefertigten
Seidenblüten, Federn oder den
Schicke Ricke Hörnern. Was inspiriert
Sie bei Ihrem Design?
Die Tradition des Dirndlhutes und
der abendländischen Brautkrone,
kombiniert mit Zeitgeist, Esprit
und Lebensfreude. Genauso
sollten meine Hüte sein, klein und
anmutig. Wer trägt Ihre Hüte?
Die moderne Frau, eine Mischung aus Alice im Wunderland
und Femme fatale. Wie kombiniert man Ihre einzigartigen
Hüte? Zum klassischem Dirndl, zur Krachledernen
oder zum kleinen Schwarzen. How did you come to the
subject of hat-design? Since ever hats have been my
passion. I was tought making hats in the theater while
working as a costume designer. What is special about
your hats? All of them are
unique with valuable pieces of
jewelry based on Art Nouveau
or Art Deko. Furthermore I decorate
them with hand-made
bright silk flowers, feathers
and the „Schicke Ricke“ antlers.
What is your inspiration
for the design? The
tradition of the usual „Dirndlhat“
and the occodental bridal
crown, combined with the
spirit of modern times. That‘s
how my hats should look like
- small and graceful. Who
wears your hats? The modern
woman, a mixture of Alice in
wonderland and Femme fatale.
How can you combine
your unique hats? You can either wear it with the traditional
Dirndl, the traditional bavarian leather pants or
with a cocktail dress.
