‘Laneways Lumieres’ launch Ballarat Winter Festival<br />
June 30, <strong>2018</strong> - Alfred Deakin Place<br />
The Ballarat Winter Festival Laneways Lumieres are an illumination and music<br />
spectacular activating and enlivening the public spaces of Police Lane, Alfred Deakin Place<br />
and beyond in association with the Ballarat Winter Festival.<br />
In its 4th year, the <strong>2018</strong> Laneway Lumieres feature over a dozen commissioned<br />
installations – engaging over 10 local artists and musicians and a crew of tech support<br />
- that combine to create an extravagant immersive synchronised sound-and-light<br />
environment that is a uniquely Ballarat version of the Dubstep Lights phenomenon.<br />
