Welcome
We are based in Cumbria, in the Northwest of the UK, in 2015 founders Lawrence Harris and
Andrew Laird started WRS to offer innovative water rescue products to emergency
services. The main focus being on the inflatable boats market, with our first product being
the Swift Water Rescue Sled. Our vision is to develop products that centre round the
challenges of technical rescue teams both operationally and in allowance for training time
coupled with the changing requirement for Flood response in the urban environment.
Since our inception in 2015 we have expanded into the United States with our manufacturing
partners producing a range of 100% US made WRS products for the US rescue services.
For our European and World markets our South Korean Factory set very high standards on
quality. The range of fabrics we use allows us to select the most appropriate fabric for the
application with our product range using Hypalon, PVC, PU (TPU) and Neoprene.

Swift Water Rescue Sled
Features
•High Volume Bow and Rocker - The increased volume maintains
stability when loaded.
•Inflation and over pressure valves - Leafield valves are used and
are widely recognised as world leaders in valve
manufacturing.
•Low profile grab handles - Fitted with 15 low profile grab handles
•Airdeck hull - 9 psi inflatable hulls creating a firm base superb
shape, stiffness and form.
•3 Chambers - The sled is built with 3 separate inflatable chambers,
providing added security should one of the chamber become
compromised.
•3 Person craft – Capable of transporting 2 rescuers and 1 casualty.
Although the sled will float up-to 5 people successfully this
does affect its use in turbulent water.
•5 x Stainless Steel D rings - Marine grade 316 Large D Rings
located for easy access from within the sled whilst floating.

Evacuation Sled
Overview
•High Pressure Drop Stitch - 2 inch TPU drop stitch fabric
working pressure 11psi.
•Folding Design – Use flat and folded , highly versatile for
multiple application and effective patient loading.
•Low profile grab handles - Fitted with 6 fabric grab handles
•Door Width - Fits through a standard residential doorway.
•Over pressure valve – Low profile over pressure valve,
compatible with compressed air inflation systems
•160kg load – When fully folded and water tight the Sled is
able to float up to 160kg.

Rescue Raft 3.6
Features
•Extra wide side tubes for stability - The Raft 3.6 is fitted
with stable 48cm diameter side tubes making it an ideal
rescue platform
•Removable Cross tubes – The option to remove the 2 cross
tubes allows space for the transport of victims in
stretchers, maintaining a low centre of gravity.
•Self Bailing or Sealed floor – As standard all rafts are fitted
with self bailing floors optional sealed floors for fowl
water flood evacuation can be fitted.
•I beam floor - Using the ribbed I beam floor to reduce risk
of foot entrapments found with drop stitch floors in
rafts.
•Over pressure valve – Fitted with overpressure valves on all
main chambers excluding cross tubes.

Swift Water IRB
Features
•Hypalon and PU Fabrics - Using both Hypalon and PU fabrics
to produce a versatile and abrasion resistant craft
•Aluminum Floor with EVA Pad – Strong solid Aluminum
floor coated with soft EVA pad for improved comfort.
•Vented Transom – Aluminum transom offers rapid bailing
even when fully swamped and under paddle power.
•Clean Profile - Working from our Rescue Raft Range we
outfit the IRB to minimise entrapment hazards to both
operators and passengers.
•Over pressure Valves – Fitted with Leafield Overpressure
valves on all chambers (excludes keel)
•Fully Customisable – Each IRB is outfitted to your exact
specifications in the UK.

Inflation Systems
HV Stirup Pump
Features
Our Rescue Pump has a 1" diameter x 6' long non-collapsible hose with either Leafield or
Bayonet Adaptor. Spare O-ring in the bottom of each pump cylinder.
Urethane reinforced base to increase durability. Foot plate and plunger disc are both
made out of high density polyethylene. Foot plate has two 1" cam strap holes for
securing pump.

Compressed Air Inflation
Features
System will operate with either 200 or 300 Din Fittings. The inflation kit is set to maximum
9.0 -10 bar, comes fitted with 35” EN-250 hose assembly and Leafield screw fit valve
adaptor.

CONNECTOR PADDLE
OVERVIEW
The only paddle designed for rescue use, this innovative product offers 3 easy to use products in 1.
Easy Use Kayak Paddle - No feather of the blades, so no need to learn how to use a standard kayak
paddle with wrist rotation. Both High Density Blades are flat allowing the paddle to be used any
way up "Easy use”.
Wade and Short Reach - Remove the Blades and connect the T -Grip and Wading Foot attachment.
Aluminium with plastic sheath gives the shaft grip and protection in cold conditions.
Extended Reach - With the use of the Extension Spigot, it is possible to join multiple shafts, with a
recommended maximum extension of 3 shafst to achieve 16ft (5m) reach.

WRS Service Centre located in Preston is our in-house repair and service centre
for all types of inflatable products. Offering professional repairs and
customisation using Hypalon, PVC and PU fabrics. Our services range from

WRS - Training School
WRS are proud to be an Approved Outreach Rescue Training Centre. Offering a
full range of water rescue courses to meet the needs of both rescue teams
and those operating in and around water. Coupled with our expertise in
the use of boats we also offering paddle and powerboat operator courses
