Basic Course Offshore Oil and Gas Processing 11 th. September 2008 Processing is a central area of oil and gas production. Offshore, process platforms are host to a wide range of equipment and control systems that is to ensure effi cient operation of the platform and maximized production of oil and gas. 84 Offshore Center Danmark Yearbook 2008 In collaboration with the consulting engineering company COWI, Offshore Center Danmark offers a unique 1-day course presenting the basics of offshore oil and gas processing. The course gives an overview of the treatment that oil and gas from the production wells undergoes, before it is ready to be sent to shore via pipelines or tankers. Offshore Center Danmark Members Offshore Center Danmark is a member based organization currently counting 165 members. As a member series of favourable offers are available: • Possibility to participate in business forums. Currently 4 forums have been established: HSSEQ (Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Quality), Offshore oil/gas installations, Offshore Wind, Decommissioning.
