Sally the donkey and a sheep called Dean,<br />
Love to feast with the Monkey Queen.<br />
They feed on bee's knees and roast of leech,<br />
Sealed with honey and the juice of a peach.<br />
They dine in the tree tops and dangle their feet,<br />
With the trunk for the table and a branch for a seat.<br />
Slurping politely from hives full of honey,<br />
And nibbling lightly at meat wrapped in money.<br />
Pete the seal is really a dear,<br />
He wasn't going to come this year.<br />
He screams and leaps which seems quite queer,<br />
He certainly won't be invited next year.<br />
Beneath the tall trees the laughing weeds wait,<br />
For the Queen to call, 'Cease, It's getting quite late!'.<br />
They'd love to be dining up there at the Queen's,<br />
If only to gobble the green jelly beans.<br />
