How does velcro work?<br />

<strong>Editing</strong> skills<br />

Velcro are a h<strong>and</strong>y fastener you will have seen<br />

on shoes clothes <strong>and</strong> other everday objects. you<br />

needs two different strips of velcro to make it work.<br />

One of the strips have tiny nylon or polyester hooks all<br />

over it. The other strip is coverred in nylon loops,<br />

although it feel furry to touch. when the two strips are<br />

pressed together the hooks grabs the loops so<br />

the strips are held firmly. the clevver thing<br />

about velcro are that it can be pulled apart <strong>and</strong><br />

rejoined thous<strong>and</strong>s of times over. the inventer<br />

of velcro got the idea from trying to pull prikles<br />

out of his dogs furr<br />

1 Punctuation<br />

(a) Add the 4 missing capital letters,<br />

possession <strong>and</strong> 1 exclamation mark.<br />

In any sentence, the subject <strong>and</strong> the verb<br />

have to agree in person <strong>and</strong> in number; for<br />

example, ‘He pulls’ but ‘They pull’.<br />
