How chewing gum is made<br />

Chewing gum is made with three basic ingredients<br />
gum base,<br />
sweeteners, <strong>and</strong><br />
flavourings.<br />
The mane ingredient of chewing gum is the gum<br />
base witch is like rubber it makes the gum chewy<br />
<strong>and</strong> also gives it a smooth tecksture. When chewing<br />
gum were first produced gum base was made from tree<br />
sap, but now artificiall gum bases are used as the<br />
gum base gets warm in your mouth it soffens <strong>and</strong><br />
the flavour of the gum is releesed sweeteners <strong>and</strong><br />
flavourings is added to the gum base. The most<br />
commonn sweeteners added to chewing gum are<br />
sugar <strong>and</strong> corn sirup the most popular flavourings<br />
used in chewing gum are pepermint <strong>and</strong> spearmint.<br />
1 Punctuation<br />
(a) Write the 4 missing capital letters, 4 full<br />
stops, 3 commas <strong>and</strong> the colon missing<br />

2 Grammar<br />
In any sentence, the subject <strong>and</strong> the verb<br />
have to agree in person <strong>and</strong> in number; for<br />
example, ‘He chews’ but ‘They chew’.<br />

each verb in the space at the end of each<br />
