I was st<strong>and</strong>ing calm at the traffic lights at St Lucys<br />

Square when me heard the sound of running footsteps<br />

a few metres behind I. I turned to see a young man<br />

helped the woman into a nearby shop were the<br />

owner kindly gave him a glass of water She recovered<br />

quick <strong>and</strong> helped me to give a description of the<br />

man hoo had robbed her<br />

1 Punctuation<br />

(a) Find the 2 missing commas, 3 full stops<br />

<strong>and</strong> 2 apostrophes to show possession.<br />

2 Grammar<br />

Pronouns are words that replace nouns; for<br />

example, ‘I’, ‘he’, ‘she’, ‘him’, ‘it’.<br />
