And this year we are concentrating particularly 

on your culinary experience. 

Following an extensive redesign, our kitchen 

is now state-of-the-art, in terms of both 

the technology and the aesthetics. The pastry 

kitchen has been expanded to include our 

own chocolaterie. As you know, serving 

homemade food is very important to us. 

Even when it comes to the pralines! 

The harmonious colours of the new, artistically 

designed buffet area will tempt you to treat 

yourself. Other new features include “front 

cooking”, a special place for freshly pressed 

fruit and vegetable juices and a wine cellar 

that’s considerably closer to the restaurant – 

you’re in for a surprise, because so much has 

been given an amazing new look. 

Of course, sustainability is at the forefront of 

our minds, so we always consider the environmental 

aspects of any innovation. For example, 

a special recycling plant reprocesses our food 

waste and sends it to a biogas plant. Generating 

heat instead of waste – a step towards a better 

future! 

One real highlight is the Chef ’s Table. You get 

to enjoy a special meal during which you can 

virtually look over the head chef ’s shoulder.

door. The Steinberg piste gives you direct access to the 

Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn Skicircus, 

one of the biggest continuous skiing areas in Austria.

and near-unlimited opportunities: perfectly prepared slopes 

and World Cup runs, snowparks, natural freeriding parks, 

SkiMovie, speed and racing runs, floodlit pistes, Funcross,

In fact, you couldn’t be any closer. 

Ski-in, ski-out – that’s how easy it is 

here at the Krallerhof. It’s so convenient 

because the Steinberg cable car 

and ski slope are just next door. You get on 

your skis right outside the hotel and find yourself 

in the heart of one of the biggest skiing 

areas in Austria. Even our younger guests now 

start their skiing lessons right next to the hotel. 

There is also some news from the Asitz: by 

carrying out major earthworks, we have made it 

easier to get into the skiing area from the 

Asitzmulde hollow. That’s an improvement that 

will be especially appreciated by less experienced 

skiers and snowboarders.

The many side valleys in this region are perfect 

for winter walking on remote winter trails that

skiing day with fantastic live music on Friday

Ski hut jumping 

Every Wednesday this spectacular ski show featuring 

the “Red Devils” from the Altenberger ski scene takes 

place at the KrallerAlm restaurant. Then the partying 

goes on in the “Alm” until the small hours.

Under the slogan “Auf weihnachtn zua...” (Christmas 

is coming...), a brass quartet, a trio of singers, the Hellbrunner 

Geigenmusi group and the Radauer Ensemble,

Leo’s Kufengaudi toboggan run from the Stöcklalm

in Leogang is a real adventure. 

Two via ferrata routes in the Leoganger

of valley cycle tracks, and

In summer our unique concert series “TONspuren 

am Asitz” rings truly outstanding musicians together

Kralli’s Kids Club & 

Villa Kunterbunt 

We provide childcare at the hotel for children over the age of 

2.5 at Kralli’s Kids Club, in an area of over 300 m 2 with climbing 

frame, slides, creative corner and much more. In winter, children 

staying at the hotel are looked after from 3.30 p.m. free of 

charge. During the main holiday season, children can enjoy their 

own evening buffet! At the professionally managed Villa 

Kunterbunt kindergarten at the Asitzbahn valley station, little 

non-skiers from the age of 2 are lovingly cared for by the hour or 

for the whole day, with lots of fun and games. 

In summer, children are looked after free of charge all day at the 

Kralli’s Kids Club. 

Children’s ski school 

There are two ways for the youngest children to make their 

first attempts on skis: at Kralli’s Kids Club next to the new 

Steinbergbahn cable car or at Leo’s Kids’ Club by the 

Asitzbahn valley station. With a magic carpet, ski carousel 

and colourful figures, children over the age of 3 are bound 

to have fun here. And the personal teaching in small groups 

provided by the experienced team from the Skiszene 

Altenberger gives them the best possible chance of success.

away from the Alte Schmiede. This is where you 

can taste the exclusive AsitzBräu beer: an incomparable 

treat. Perhaps it’s because the amber-coloured beer 

comes from the oldest brewery in the East Tyrol. 

Or perhaps it’s because the views of the Leoganger 

mountains from the terrace are just breathtaking. 

Surrounded by fascinating artefacts from the brewery, 

you can enjoy the relaxed mountain hut ambience, 

accompanied by genuine brewery cuisine. Night-time 

tobogganing, the Asitz Music Night and the spectacular 

Fire & Ice Show make the AsitzBräu a truly amazing 

mountain hut. In the late autumn, it’s a popular

away from the Krallerhof, it is regarded as the 

most original event venue in the mountains. 

The KrallerAlm was built exclusively from 

recycled materials, with a great deal of love and 

care. The interior decor is based on the theme of 

spinning and weaving, so there is a little 

mill stream, a 4-tonne mill wheel and an old 

wool-combing machine. With a spacious sunshine 

terrace with views of the Leoganger Steinberge, 

and several traditional lounges, complete with 

its own dance floor, the KrallerAlm easily has 

room for 350 people. Pizza from the wood-fired 

oven, regional and international food and 

specialities like Barbecue and “hat eating”, events. 

Probably the most exceptional mountain restaurant 

anywhere. Probably the best ski lodge anywhere. 

Just a few steps away from the top station of the 

Asitzbahn and Steinbergbahn cable cars, this little 

gem is situated at 1760 metres above sea level. 

The Alte Schmiede (Old Smithy) is in a class of its 

own. In winter, it’s a really special ski hut, a place to 

treat yourself to a break while skiing, and it has the 

best après-ski atmosphere, too. In summer, it’s an 

amazing place for culture-vultures, because it’s where 

the legendary concerts TONspuren on the Asitz take 

place. But the Alte Schmiede is also a popular stopping 

place for hikers and bikers. And while in winter 

you can enjoy the sheer romance of tobogganing by 

moonlight, in the warmer months there’s a summer

higher room categories. A fee of s 7.– per day and car is payable for guests staying in the following room categories: Junior Room, double 

room Fürstenhof de Luxe and Hermann Hesse, Wilhelm Busch, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and Friedrich von Schiller. Room prices are 

calculated for 2 full-paying adults in all room categories (exception: “Wilhelm Busch” and “Ochre” single suite). Surcharge for single use 

of double and family rooms as well as suites: from s 50.– per person/day on demand. Package prices (not during the high season) are always 

per person in a double room, subject to availability, minimum of two full-paying adults. Offers and discounts cannot be accumulated. 

Check-In: 3 p.m., Check-Out: 11 a.m. All our rooms are non-smoking rooms. Certified as a barrier-free hotel the Krallerhof offers 

wheelchair-accessible facilities and rooms. Dogs: s 25.– per day (without food). 

Please note that children under the age of 14 are not permitted to enter our wellness & spa area or sauna area, and children must be 15 

or over to use the gym. This does not apply to the indoor pool and family sauna. 

Deposit for fixed reservations: s 400.– per person, no extra fees apply. In the event of non-arrival, premature departure or late arrival, 

we will levy cancellation charges pursuant to Austrian hotel contract terms. Cancelling your reservation: three months to one month before 

arrival date: 40 % of total room costs; up to one week before arrival date: 70 % of total room costs; less than one week before arrival date: 

90 % of total room costs. Please note that you can purchase travel insurance to cover short-term cancellation of your travel plans!
