2018

We want to become even better. For you!
To do everything we can to make you feel at
home here. That’s what we always try to do.
And this year we are concentrating particularly
on your culinary experience.
Following an extensive redesign, our kitchen
is now state-of-the-art, in terms of both
the technology and the aesthetics. The pastry
kitchen has been expanded to include our
own chocolaterie. As you know, serving
homemade food is very important to us.
Even when it comes to the pralines!
The harmonious colours of the new, artistically
designed buffet area will tempt you to treat
yourself. Other new features include “front
cooking”, a special place for freshly pressed
fruit and vegetable juices and a wine cellar
that’s considerably closer to the restaurant –
you’re in for a surprise, because so much has
been given an amazing new look.
Of course, sustainability is at the forefront of
our minds, so we always consider the environmental
aspects of any innovation. For example,
a special recycling plant reprocesses our food
waste and sends it to a biogas plant. Generating
heat instead of waste – a step towards a better
future!
One real highlight is the Chef ’s Table. You get
to enjoy a special meal during which you can
virtually look over the head chef ’s shoulder.
Our highly regarded sommelier will advise you
on just the right wines to accompany it. Come
and try the new culinary experience at the
Krallerhof! We’re already looking forward to
giving you a treat!
and the Krallerhof team

o close to the action. So close to where
it’s all created. A highlight for interested
gourmets. When you enjoy a meal at the
Chef ’s Table, you’ll learn lots of culinary
secrets “from the horse’s mouth” – our head
chef himself.

ater. Light. Love. The sensory charm
of colour. Fine art, the 10-metre-long
water painting by Ty Waltinger. The fascinating
freedom of diversity. The Refugium,
a wonderful place to just let go.

mazing silence. Drift away. Wrap
yourself in the warm embrace of our
world of wellness. Impressively grand
and with a fascinating mystique. A place
where the opportunities for recuperation seem
endless. Four different rest rooms, each with
its own special magic, such as the meditative
nitsch room. The large open-air pool in the
grounds, the sauna pool, the long indoor pool
with its sound dome, eight saunas and steam
baths and an exclusive Private Spa – in the
Refugium, it’s all about relaxation.
All kinds of different massages and Ayurvedic
therapies, and special treatments in our own
beauty parlour, will help you to rediscover
“the lightness of being”.
Ayurveda
Ayurveda, yoga and meditation. At the Krallerhof,
we believe strongly in the Indian healing system.
Especially during Ayurveda Week. As we have done for
One sheep, two sheep, three sheep …
that might be one way of solving any
difficulties in getting to sleep or staying
asleep. But a far more effective way is
“power sleeping”. You’ll sleep soundly in
one of our 30 power sleeping rooms,
in which all the fittings are made only of
purely natural materials. Oak floors and
Swiss pine walls create the ideal room
climate. The beds are fitted with the
Samina sleeping system, including a freely
suspended slatted frame made of ash
wood. With covers and blankets made of
premium-quality sheep’s wool, you will
enjoy a dry, warm sleeping environment.
A Lokosana grounding pad ensures a
stabilised magnetic field to enhance the
quality of your sleep. Power sleeping at the
Krallerhof means sleeping well, naturally.
Powersleeping Days
s mysterious and limitless as the sky.
The sensation of preciousness. The preciousness
that is found uniquely in Nature. In whiteness.
In the woods, the mountains, the scenery. As if
created by the gods. A harmonious whole that
brings the gift of tranquillity. And inner peace.
Between the mystical spheres, there’s space
for inspiration. And a new perspective on the here
and now. Time and existence become one in this
unforgettable winter.

At the Krallerhof, the ski slopes are virtually outside the front
door. The Steinberg piste gives you direct access to the
Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn Skicircus,
one of the biggest continuous skiing areas in Austria.
You can look forward to a sensational 270 km of ski slopes
and near-unlimited opportunities: perfectly prepared slopes
and World Cup runs, snowparks, natural freeriding parks,
SkiMovie, speed and racing runs, floodlit pistes, Funcross,
snow trails and much more. The 60 cosy ski huts offer a variety
of places to stop for a break, and fantastic après-ski, too.
In fact, you couldn’t be any closer.
Ski-in, ski-out – that’s how easy it is
here at the Krallerhof. It’s so convenient
because the Steinberg cable car
and ski slope are just next door. You get on
your skis right outside the hotel and find yourself
in the heart of one of the biggest skiing
areas in Austria. Even our younger guests now
start their skiing lessons right next to the hotel.
There is also some news from the Asitz: by
carrying out major earthworks, we have made it
easier to get into the skiing area from the
Asitzmulde hollow. That’s an improvement that
will be especially appreciated by less experienced
skiers and snowboarders.
I wish you lots of safe skiing fun in our wonderful
skiing area!
Europe’s highest brewery museum is just a few steps
away from the Alte Schmiede. This is where you
can taste the exclusive AsitzBräu beer: an incomparable
treat. Perhaps it’s because the amber-coloured beer
Or perhaps it’s because the views of the Leoganger
mountains from the terrace are just breathtaking.
you can enjoy the relaxed mountain hut ambience,
tobogganing, the Asitz Music Night and the spectacular
Lodge video

Welcoming, authentic, unique. Just 100 metres
away from the Krallerhof, it is regarded as the
most original event venue in the mountains.
The KrallerAlm was built exclusively from
recycled materials, with a great deal of love and
care. The interior decor is based on the theme of
spinning and weaving, so there is a little
wool-combing machine. With a spacious sunshine
terrace with views of the Leoganger Steinberge,
and several traditional lounges, complete with
its own dance floor, the KrallerAlm easily has
room for 350 people. Pizza from the wood-fired
oven, regional and international food and
specialities like Barbecue and “hat eating”, events.
Probably the most exceptional mountain restaurant
anywhere. Probably the best ski lodge anywhere.
Just a few steps away from the top station of the
Asitzbahn and Steinbergbahn cable cars, this little
gem is situated at 1760 metres above sea level.
The Alte Schmiede (Old Smithy) is in a class of its
own. In winter, it’s a really special ski hut, a place to
treat yourself to a break while skiing, and it has the
best après-ski atmosphere, too. In summer, it’s an
amazing place for culture-vultures, because it’s where
the legendary concerts TONspuren on the Asitz take
place. But the Alte Schmiede is also a popular stopping
place for hikers and bikers. And while in winter
you can enjoy the sheer romance of tobogganing by
moonlight, in the warmer months there’s a summer
toboggan run, too.

A time to remember. Real togetherness. Pleasure shared is
pleasure doubled. Celebrating what is precious about every
moment. When life is great, and even better because you’re
with your loved ones. Whether it’s a birthday, a christening
or some other happy event – this is a wonderful place for a
party. At the KrallerAlm, Alte Schmiede or AsitzBräu, in
the cosy rooms of the hotel restaurant or one of the many
function rooms – celebrate at the Krallerhof, celebrate life!
