We thank you for the preliminary registrations and we ask all the interested
persons who have not registered yet to send the registration forms. The final
deadline for the registration, abstract submission and conference fee payment is
on the 15th February 2010. The persons, who would register after this deadline
will be charged with higher conference fee.
The conference fee (regular 400 PLN, and 200 PLN for PhD students) covers
costs of participation on oral and poster sessions, volume of conference
abstracts, breakfasts, lunches and dinners on 23 rd and 24 th of June, ice-breaker
party on 22 nd of June and welcome dinner on the 23 rd .
Besides sessions we offer two field trips (details are already included in First
Circular and on the conference web site):
• Pre-conference field trip (21-22 June 2010): Quaternary processes of
erosion and accumulation on the middle polish Baltic coast
• Post-conference field trip (25-26 June 2010): Deposits of the Vistulian
glaciation on the Middle Pomerania

The detail programme of the conference will be presented in the 3rd circular, which will be send in May 2010
for the registered persons.
CONFERENCE VENUE and FEES:
The conference will be held in a small village Smoldzino in the vicinity of the Slovinski National Park (central
part of Polish Baltic Sea coast). This area is of particular interest because of large dunes, spits, lagoons,
long beaches and complex coastline evolution (www.slowinskipn.pl).
The accomodation during the conference will be granted in pension "U Bernackich" in Smoldzino:

Conference fees does not include the accomodation costs (65 PLN per night in double-bed room).

In case of cancellation, 100% of refund will be given until the 15th of March, 2010 and 50% after this date.
CONFERENCE MATERIALS
During the conference all the participants will be provided with a volume including abstracts of all the
presentation and a guide to the field trips. Moreover, at the end of 2010, all the participants will receive a
special post-conference issue of GEOLOGOS (www.geologos.com.pl) containing the reviewed full papers.

(www.geologos.com.pl). Please send conference abstracts as MS Word attachment prepared according to
guidelines available on the conference webpage (http://www.pokos4.amu.edu.pl/abstracts.html).
