1. Decide WHERE you wish to display
your ART
The reason you get that "ooo" feelings when you look at your art on
the wall is that it is a moment captured in time. It is also because
the image has been coordinated with the room. So take some time
to think about the room and how you wish to display your images:
Are there an ascent wall colour?
Is the room dark, light or medium in tone?
Are there any textures you would like to coordinate with?
Things to think about when thinking of displaying your images
The colour of the nursery should work well with the images
When hanging multiple images, try to places images together of a similar
tone this will give a lovely relaxed and designed look to your images.

2. Decide HOW you wish to display your
images
Before putting up picture hooks, you will need to decide which images you
wish to hang.
Would you like to display a single image?
Do you wish to include wall decor like shelves?

Single images
Single images provide a clear and clean and classic way to
display your images. Make sure its large enough to cover the
space to create that beautiful statement piece that you are
looking for.

Groupings
Symmetrical displays are peaceful and help to tell a story.
Organic displays
This creates interests but careful thought needs to be given to
sence of balance.

3. Decide WHAT you wish to display.
The last thing to think about is how you wish to display your
images. If you choose an organic display I would recommend
that you include personal items into the display as this will
make it unique and special to you.
Ideas
A floating shelf with images propped on them.
A special heirloom from granny or grandad.
Trinkets from baby's hospital.
Special quotes.
Lettering with baby's initials.

4. Professional TIPS for displaying your
images.
1. Be different: Experiment with different images hanging, placed
on shelves, or overlapping images.
2. Create an area of balance: Coordinate (not necessarily
matching) frames and images, for example:
All canvas colour coordinated but a different thickness.
All images in matching frames but of different thickness.
All Silver and Gold frames with a mixture of matt and gloss images
3. Restricting size: In a grouping of images keep the images the
same size - if you do what to introduce different size keep it to
three sizes.
4. Mixed frame types: If you what to take a risk and mix up the
images and frames - please follow these simple rules:
# Don't use more than three colour of wooden frames
#By placing matching frames or prints on opposite sides it will
bring the eye across the whole display.
