Underarm roll 4<br />
It is a manipulative skill that involves applying a pushing force to an object to propel it along the ground.<br />
Key points<br />
• Swing the rolling hand back and down reaching behind the trunk while the chest and head<br />
faces forward<br />
• Step forward with opposite foot to the rolling hand<br />
• Bend the knees to lower the body<br />
• Release the ball close to the floor so it does not bounce more than 10cm<br />

It is a manipulative skill that involves applying a pushing<br />
force to an object and immediately receiving it again.<br />
Key points<br />
• Hold the ball with one hand at about belt level<br />
• Push the ball down to the ground with the fingertips<br />
(do not slap the ball)<br />
• Make sure the ball hits the floor in front of or outside<br />
the preferred foot<br />
• Push the ball down again when it bounces to about<br />
belt level<br />
• Try to do four or more bounces without having to<br />
move the feet to retrieve the ball<br />
