Children greatly benefit from being physically active<br />

Being active and eating healthy foods is good for life as it helps kids to:<br />

• Grow and develop healthily<br />

• Build strong bones and muscles<br />

• Improve their concentration<br />

• Improve their balance, coordination and strength<br />

• Develop skills like jumping, catching and kicking<br />

• Maintain and develop flexibility<br />

• Achieve and maintain a healthy weight<br />

• Improve cardiovascular fitness<br />

• Relax<br />

• Improve posture<br />

• Make friends<br />

• Improve self-esteem<br />

Young kids need at least 3 hours of physical activity everyday.<br />
