The military-chosen MG-SD is a s<strong>in</strong>gle unit solution for<br />
reduc<strong>in</strong>g the signature of 5.56mm and 7.62mm light mach<strong>in</strong>e guns. Designed from<br />
the ground-up to handle the unrelent<strong>in</strong>g heat and abrasive blast<strong>in</strong>g of susta<strong>in</strong>ed<br />
burst fir<strong>in</strong>g, the MG-SD features a rugged monolithic core of heat treated Inconel®<br />
718. The core fully circumferentially welded to the Inconel® outer tube and 316<br />
sta<strong>in</strong>less steel fast attach mount. The MG-SD couples to a BLACKOUT® flash hider<br />
us<strong>in</strong>g the evolutionary new rock-solid 90 tooth Ratchet Taper Mount. Reduc<strong>in</strong>g<br />
the sound, flash, and dust signature of belt-fed light mach<strong>in</strong>e guns saves lives <strong>in</strong><br />
combat and preserves the hear<strong>in</strong>g of the shooter and nearby support personnel.<br />
