After over seven years of producing your
favourite watersports magazine, the
efforts of a dedicated team and the support of
our faithful readers resulted in Active Boating
and Watersports being awarded the Golden
Globes for Business Excellence.
The awarding took place
at the Grand Centennial
Ballroom Manila Hotel on
the evening of September
23rd 2017 in grand style.
Active Boating was
represented by Rosalie
Macasabwang, Publisher
and her partner Mr Peter
Baird, Barry Dawson, Editor
and Production Manager
and partner Richelle Galvan.
Our thanks must go firstly
to all those who work
diligently behind the scenes
to make the magazine the
success it is today. Firstly
our dedicated layout artist
Mr. Mar Suba, who works endlessly to make the
presentation of each article, published a work
of art. And of course we could not produce
the destinations so informatively without the
Support of the Department of Tourism, and our
special thanks go out to Grace Marzan and her
team at The Regional Monitoring Staff, Makati,

who supplies us with our fishing stories, plus
all other contributors that have supported the
magazine since day one.

Subic who does our accounts
and Richelle in Manila who
tirelessly supports us with
BIR and registrations etc.
Our advertisers who stay
with us and of course most
importantly YOU our readers
who made all this work to
bring you the best magazine
in the Philippines. Other
dedicated supporters who
