Chapter 3: Myth Defied 85
When this happens, you confuse the Universe. Remember,
the Universe always says “Yes!” In this situation, you have the
Universe saying “Yes!” to both your accelerator and your brake!
You’re revving the engine but your car is motionless.
When you have mutually exclusive thoughts, they cancel each
other out and nothing happens. No movement, or only spurts of
movement but no consistent movement. This kind of dynamic
is running in most people’s heads, usually because as a child the
seed was put in their mind that people with money are greedy,
people who are wealthy are bad, and it’s okay not to have
money.
No abundance can ever come to you with
this pair of Mutually Exclusive Beliefs.
Then there’s that statement, “What do you think, we’re made
of money?” I love that one! It’s one of my favorites. Isn’t this
the most amazing judgement when a child asks if he or she can
have money for a bike, or some toy?
One option among the 2% of the nurturing, unconditionally
loving parents would be “How can I support you to have that?”
