26 Secrets of a Fairy Godmother Familiar path. The puddles lie here every year when it rains; and this crack’s growing bigger each season; the grass is encroaching the corner right there, As I wander this path For no reason.

Chapter 2: Delete the LLE 27 What people don’t realize is that the Comfort Zone is actually really UNcomfortable. The Comfort Zone actually keeps all the past locked in, including all the angst and resistances that were created, and all those Non-Life Enhancing feelings supported by other people’s resistance to change. Sometimes you can be in your Comfort Zone for way too long, and all those cozy patterns can actually be chains that keep you from further growth and freedom. Then, suddenly, when it comes time to move past your Comfort Zone, due to the constant change in the world around you…the people, relationships, work situation, neighborhood, and all the thousands of other things that are part of a person’s daily life… it’s hard to let go of the patterns that have settled on you like sand dunes over an archaeological dig site. When you become mired in your comfortability, your flexibility, your curiosity, your interests, your diet, your passions…all become static and hold you in place. You begin to lose track of who you Really are and instead become held by the tar pits you’ve made for yourself.
