President Message:
July 4th is the day when all Americans
Families celebrate with pool parties
and barbeques and a bang of fireworks!
Life is good because of the citizens who
served their country, we enjoy
freedom.
Fredom is not free, the price paid so
that others can enjoy freedom was paid with the red blood of
the patriotic brothers and sisters who served. We cannot take
that for granted. This years project is to support the
men and woman that are deployed.
I ask you to start collecting items to put in the care packages
to be sent abroad. We have partnered with The Valley Resource
Center to assemble the care packages and send them to the
appropriate troops. Adopt-A-Troop Program -We send
monthly care packages to deployed military members each
month with letters of support and encouragement.
Don’t forget we are still continuing to collect flags with
embroidered stars. This project is to honor the veterens as we
meet them in our community.
Ladies, please honor, respect and support
our vets. Freedom is really not free!
Remember to keep track of your
volunteer hours. See you on the 9th!
