It may seem at first thought somewhat strange<br />

that <strong>the</strong>re should be anything in heaven needing to<br />

be reconciled by <strong>the</strong> blood of His cross, but so it<br />

says. God’s plan of salvation extends fur<strong>the</strong>r than<br />

reconciling those that are on <strong>the</strong> earth. There is<br />

something to be reconciled that has to do with<br />

things in heaven.<br />

Rebellion in Heaven<br />

<strong>In</strong> <strong>the</strong> Revelation John says, “And <strong>the</strong>re was<br />

war in heaven.” We are accustomed to <strong>the</strong> idea that<br />

this earth only has been in a state of rebellion; but<br />

this scripture says that <strong>the</strong>re was war in heaven.<br />

“Michael and His angels fought against <strong>the</strong> dragon,<br />

and <strong>the</strong> dragon fought and his angels, and prevailed<br />

not; nei<strong>the</strong>r was <strong>the</strong>ir place found any more in<br />

heaven. And <strong>the</strong> dragon was cast out, that old<br />

serpent, called <strong>the</strong> Devil and Satan, which<br />

deceiveth <strong>the</strong> whole world: he was cast out into <strong>the</strong><br />

earth, and his angels were cast out with him. And I<br />

heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come<br />
