Gospel Blended<br />

These exhibits begin with a letter written within<br />

days of <strong>the</strong> publication of <strong>the</strong> final section of<br />

<strong>Prescott</strong>’s talk “The Law in Christ.” The o<strong>the</strong>r<br />

statements are given chronologically beginning in<br />

1888. Emphasis in all is supplied. Bracketed<br />

sections are observations of <strong>the</strong> compiler.<br />

[A highly significant correlation exists between<br />

<strong>the</strong> concepts in <strong>the</strong> last two paragraphs in<br />

<strong>Prescott</strong>’s last sermon, in <strong>the</strong> section above entitled<br />

“The Law out of Christ and <strong>the</strong> Law in Christ,” as<br />

well as <strong>the</strong> final text <strong>Prescott</strong> used, and a letter<br />

Ellen White wrote five days after <strong>the</strong>se paragraphs<br />

were published. This letter to Uriah Smith shows<br />
