Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered My<br />

servant Job, that <strong>the</strong>re is none like him in <strong>the</strong> earth,<br />

a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God<br />

and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his<br />

integrity, although thou movedst Me against him to<br />

destroy him without cause?” One would think that<br />

that would settle <strong>the</strong> controversy, but you never can<br />

settle anything with <strong>the</strong> right argument with Satan.<br />

“And Satan answered <strong>the</strong> Lord and said, Skin for<br />

skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his<br />

life. But put forth thine hand now, and touch his<br />

bone and his flesh, and he will curse Thee to Thy<br />

face.” “And <strong>the</strong> Lord said unto Satan, Behold he is<br />

in thy hand; but save his life.”<br />

Job’s <strong>In</strong>tegrity<br />

And you remember <strong>the</strong> experience of Job after<br />

this, how his wife urged him to curse God and die.<br />

But still he would not yield. “Though He slay me,”<br />

he said, “yet will I trust in Him.” “As God liveth,<br />

who hath taken away my judgment; and <strong>the</strong><br />

Almighty who hath vexed my soul; all <strong>the</strong> while<br />

my breath is in me, and <strong>the</strong> Spirit of God is in my<br />
