Third Annual Retreat
During our retreat, newly elected officers were taught the ropes and prompted with a new journey ahead of
them. Past officers explained their positions to the new officers ensuring a smooth transition. The Xi Class are
about to be pushed to their full potential to see what they are truly made of. This class has such a strong bond
for having such few members, but this works to their advantage with each of them having the same dedication
and drive.
Brother Regent Cole Fragapane initiated a new approach for this year’s retreat. He instructed all collegiate
brothers on how to utilize Delta Omega’s Google documents efficiently. Goals and opinions of past projects
were shared with the chapter to warrant a successful year.
This retreat gave the new brothers more insight of what they would be doing their year coming and gave the
current brothers a view of how projects would be done differently through the new personalities added to the
group. During this 10-hour event, lunch was served by Olive Garden and committee meetings began shortly
after. Committees were formed some of which included the Assembly Committee, Pledge Committee,
Philanthropy Committee, and many others. These committees will allow for productivity. Our newest addition,
Assembly Committee, is an exciting journey as we will be hosting 2019 Fall Assembly! The committee has
already been working diligently, searching for appropriate transportation, hotel, and food options for this event.
