Welcome to the <strong>2018</strong> <strong>Master</strong> <strong>Catalog</strong><br />
The team at <strong>Semrock</strong> is very excited to be an integral part<br />
of IDEX Health & Science’s new Optics Center of Excellence<br />
currently under construction in Rochester, NY. The COE will<br />
integrate different optical technologies along with research<br />
and development capabilities which will enable us to create<br />
a world class optical coating facility, scale-up sub-system<br />
manufacturing, and expand optical sub-system design<br />
capabilities. By combining these functions into one new<br />
facility under common management, IDEX Health & Science<br />
and <strong>Semrock</strong> will be able to deliver on our commitment<br />
to customers to become a best-in-class supplier of optical<br />
systems and components.<br />
IDEX Health & Science selected the Rochester area for the<br />
new facility due to its strong history in optics technology,<br />
base of people, universities, and supporting businesses.<br />
Additionally, the concentration of current employees and<br />
business functions along with governmental support of<br />
optical businesses in Rochester contributed to the decision.<br />
Construction is anticipated to be completed in <strong>2018</strong>.<br />
As the requirements for spectral filtering and imaging continue<br />
to evolve we know you will need more than just optical filters,<br />
so while we will continue to push the envelope for brightness,<br />
blocking, crosstalk, bleedthrough, and flatness; we will also<br />
continue to enhance SearchLight , MyLight , and our website<br />
to help you find the right solutions, right now.<br />
