Inauguration of the new building extension in Arnsberg, Germany
BAG continues its path to success
BAG electronics GmbH has officially inaugurated the new extension to
their headquarters in Arnsberg with a major celebration together with
many employees from Germany and overseas.
The building annex means that the successful development of the company in the
past few years is now distinctly visible from the outside as well. The existing
building had become too tight due to several new employment positions. The
modern architecture represents the 'new BAG', a transformation that can also be
seen with the completely overhauled corporate design.
BAG is an internationally active company with dependencies in Europe and Asia,
and modern production facilities in China, India and the Philippines. A total of
around 3,000 employees work for the company, with approximately 120 of these
in Germany. The growth of employees in the recent past was also caused by the
acquisition of Hüco Lightronic GmbH, based in Espelkamp in Germany.
And for the future as well all signs are pointing to growth for BAG. "In this regard
we're following a clear portfolio strategy focused on optimal solutions for the
operation of discharge lamps and LED applications as well as for the intelligent
control of lighting installations," explains Thomas Patzelt, Managing Director of
BAG.
