Awards and Recognitions 1) Madurai SUBRAMANI SEKAR S On-the-spot award was given to Mr. Subramani Sekar S for iden fying the scope for improving the quality in RSB6. He took the ini a ve and got the pathway height adjusted that further helped to reduce the count CV and improved it up to 70% in 40s HY ANNADURAI Iden fying the reason for the frequent stoppage of the spinning machine was not an easy task. Mr. Annadurai received on-the-spot award for iden fying the problem and suggested placing a glowing lamp outside the S3 plant wall which helped iden fy the status of the plant by simply analysing the glowing condi on of the lamp. The placement of the lamp helped eliminate breakdowns and improved func onality of the plant. SASIKUMAR In Vagai the star ng me of the new erec on machine was high due to concrete work.On-the-spot award was given to Mr. Sasikumar for using an eco-friendly material instead of the concrete work for star ng erec on of the machine which was quick in se ng and also curing free. This reduced the machine me from 11 days to 4 days and improved produc on. MOHAMEED RAFIC Mr. Mohameed Rafic received an on-the-spot award for designing the stripper which was placed under the suc on mouth which reduced loss and improved quality. MANONMANI On the spot award was given to Ms. Manomani for crea ng an extra nozzle in OTHC for blowing the waste from yarn guide. Waste chocking was very high in assembly winding within the yarn guide area that was affec ng the quality. June <strong>2018</strong> 8
ARIVAZHAGAN NS On-the-spot award was given to Mr. Arivazhagan NS for improving the water level of our Mill. He arranged the mely drilling of bore wells, for 3 mills, to avoid further water shortage and purchase of water from outside. MILLER APPAVOO Mr. Miller Appavoo received the on-the-spot award for individually designing the Manaparai Air Jet Spinning Electrical Drawing for submission in the Electrical Inspectorate, Chennai 2) Soda Ash Division “Parivartan Award- QHSE” was given to: 1.
