I wrote Baneful Magick a couple of years ago, I<br />
realized as the book progressed that although I as able to<br />
provide an Operational base using Hoodoo <strong>and</strong> variations<br />
of Brazilian Santeria, my knowledge <strong>and</strong> practical<br />
immersion in the Magick <strong>and</strong> the Ascent of the African<br />
diasporic systems was not only limited in general, but was<br />
specifically limited to the vantage of an outsider. <strong>The</strong> little<br />
that I could glimpse from scattered sources <strong>and</strong> pick up in<br />
passing conversation I was able to turn into a usable, albeit<br />
bastardized practice.<br />
I began to employ, immediately after completing<br />
the manuscript for Baneful Magick, some of the very Exu
