DISASTER MANAGEMENT
Nepal is a multi-hazard prone country with high seismic vulnerability.
Nepal suffers with many disasters every year. The mega
earthquake of 7.8 magnitude on April 25, 2015 and following
the aftershock of 7.6 on May 12, 2015 is an example of a worse
disaster in Nepal. The impact of the disaster is severe because of
the ill-preparedness of such scaled calamity.
