Extreme Deep: Mission to the Abyss

Help adult learners in the community by 

becoming an English Literacy Volunteer! 

Join us for an introduction to learn more 

followed by training. There's no obligation to 

stay if the program is not for you.

Registration recommended but walk-ins welcome. No

Veterans Voices: Your Chance 

to Make a Difference 

Volunteer veterans will get matched 

with schools and other organizations to 

speak at on Veterans Day and throughout 

the year. These informal 

conversations will educate 

the community about 

veterans. No prior speaking 

experience necessary. For

includes a feature-length documentary and 

traveling exhibit telling a nearly forgotten 

story about Elgin's first wealth, the dairy 

industry, and the 

change in land use
