the <strong>ESGE</strong> research grant and new Quality<br />
in Endoscopy symposia.<br />

the Stomach (MAPS)<br />
The meeting of a working group of gastroenterologists<br />
and pathologists produced a<br />
Clinical Guideline on the management of<br />
patients with atrophy, intestinal metaplasia<br />
or dysplasia in gastric mucosa.<br />
The guideline is published in this issue of<br />
Endoscopy and simultaneously in Virchows<br />
Archiv.<br />

great success and praised by a large international<br />

Always a highlight for <strong>ESGE</strong> activities and<br />
committee meetings to design future developments<br />
in Endoscopy<br />
Learning Area<br />
The Learning Area in Stockholm was ideally<br />
located and attracted many visitors<br />
for hands-on sessions, animated lectures<br />
with joint presentations from junior and<br />
senior speakers. For the first time the<br />
DVD Centre featured a large-screen showing<br />
the live demonstration and was enjoyed<br />
by many delegates.<br />
<strong>ESGE</strong> booth at the association village<br />
Visitors flocked in to register for <strong>ESGE</strong> individual<br />
membership at the <strong>ESGE</strong> booth<br />
centrally located in the midst of the exhibition<br />
area.<br />
<strong>ESGE</strong> booths<br />
<strong>ESGE</strong> was present this year at the 13th<br />
Düsseldorf Symposium, at the JFHOD in<br />
Paris, at DDW Chicago, at the 29th GEEW<br />
in Brussels, at APDW 2011 in Singapore, at<br />
UEGW 2011 in Stockholm and at Amsterdam<br />
Live Endoscopy 2011. We look forward<br />
to seeing you there again in <strong>2012</strong>,<br />
to answer your questions, share experiences,<br />
and have the pleasure to meeting face<br />
to face <strong>ESGE</strong> individual members. Special<br />
benefit for new members registering at<br />
