Note: Book of Jubilees and <strong>the</strong> Book of Enoch have always been canon <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> Ethiopian <strong>Bible</strong><br />

Tertullian considered <strong>the</strong> Book of Enoch as part of <strong>the</strong> “Holy Scripture“.<br />

They are not part of <strong>the</strong> 66 books of our canon of "Scripture"<br />

As such we do not use <strong>the</strong>m to form doctr<strong>in</strong>es.<br />

CHAPTER VI.<br />

1.And it came to pass when <strong>the</strong> children of men had multiplied that <strong>in</strong> those days were born unto<br />

<strong>the</strong>m beautiful and comely daughters.<br />

2. And <strong>the</strong> angels, <strong>the</strong> children of <strong>the</strong> heaven, saw and lusted after <strong>the</strong>m, and said to one ano<strong>the</strong>r:<br />

'Come, let us choose us wives from among <strong>the</strong> children of men and beget us children.'<br />

3. And Semjâzâ, who was <strong>the</strong>ir leader, said unto <strong>the</strong>m: 'I fear ye will not <strong>in</strong>deed agree to do this<br />

deed, and I alone shall have to pay <strong>the</strong> penalty of a great s<strong>in</strong>.'<br />

4. And <strong>the</strong>y all answered him and said: 'Let us all swear an oath, and all b<strong>in</strong>d ourselves by mutual<br />

imprecations not to abandon this plan but to do this th<strong>in</strong>g.'<br />

5. Then sware <strong>the</strong>y all toge<strong>the</strong>r and bound <strong>the</strong>mselves by mutual imprecations upon it.<br />

6. And <strong>the</strong>y were <strong>in</strong> all two hundred; who descended <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> days of Jared on <strong>the</strong> summit of Mount<br />

Hermon, and <strong>the</strong>y called it Mount Hermon, because <strong>the</strong>y had sworn and bound <strong>the</strong>mselves by<br />

mutual imprecations upon it.<br />

7. And <strong>the</strong>se are <strong>the</strong> names of <strong>the</strong>ir leaders: Sêmîazâz, <strong>the</strong>ir leader, Arâkîba, Râmêêl, Kôkabîêl,<br />

Tâmîêl, Râmîêl, Dânêl, Êzêqêêl, Barâqîjâl, Asâêl, Armârôs, Batârêl, Anânêl, Zaqîêl, Samsâpêêl,<br />

Satarêl, Tûrêl, Jômjâêl, Sariêl. 8. These are <strong>the</strong>ir chiefs of tens.<br />
