Melodie Stacey, the Artists Open Houses<br />
May <strong>2018</strong> Brochure Cover Artist, is a mixed media<br />
artist who has lived in Brighton for some years,<br />
after studying for a degree in Fine Art at<br />
Aberdeen University.<br />
Alongside her main discipline of painting, Melodie has<br />
recently been exploring a range of media, including<br />
embroidery, tapestry, doll-making and dioramas.<br />
The theme of storytelling runs through her work. In<br />
particular, Melodie has had an interest in fairy and folk tales<br />
from a young age and this has been an influence throughout<br />
her career.<br />
