Gardens
Hidden gems
Perched on the top of the cliff at the foot of the South
Downs is the beautiful Helen Garden with magnificent
views to sea. Hidden away below at Holywell are the secret
Italian Gardens. These secluded, lawned gardens sit in a
wooded amphitheatre carved out of the cliff face above
Holywell beach. On a balmy Summer’s evening these
gardens provide a beautiful setting for open air theatre.
Delicate fragrant roses, a beautiful old oak, a vibrant
burst of colourful crocuses. Lay on sunny lawns and look
up at bright blue skies feeling the warmth on your face.
Whether you are seeking inspiration or solace we have a
wealth of tranquil green spaces and pretty gardens.
Park with its Arboretum and History Garden.
town its name. Close by lies Manor Gardens with
its 18th Century thatched Hermitage, fragrant
