seafront with smoke<br />
trailing, flags flying,<br />
performing amazing<br />
formations both in<br />
the air and under the<br />
parachutes!<br />
The experienced parachutists<br />
from The Princess of Wales’s<br />
Royal Regiment’s Parachute<br />
display team, led by Captain<br />
Ian Wicks, have many display<br />
routines, all dynamic in style<br />
to hold you captivated with an<br />
equally exciting commentary.<br />

The Tigers seniority stems<br />
from the Tangier Regiment of<br />
1661 thus having the distinction<br />
of being the senior English Infantry<br />
Regiment of the line.<br />
The team now provide additional<br />
support to the Army with an active role<br />
in recruitment and image promotion.<br />
DID YOU KNOW?<br />
The display team was formed in 1986<br />
and originally named ‘The Flying<br />
Dragons’, a legacy that still continues<br />
to this day, with many members of<br />
the Regiment choosing to refer to<br />
the team as ‘The Flying Tigers’.<br />
