different levels have the opportunity

The focus is on strengthening the
quality of dancing and promoting
the personality of children and
adolescents, as well as providing
competence in the field of
choreography.

dance teachers from Russia, Ukraine,
Austria, France, Hungary, Italy, the
United States and the like. The dancers
can learn and try new styles and

The DANCEFLASH DANCE COMPETITION is intended for candidates aged
7-26 years with professional dance education. But also for dancers from the
amateur field.
An internationally renowned jury from the most diverse dance styles will conduct the
evaluation. In recent years, professional jury members have repeatedly discovered and
promoted dance talents.

PRIZES:
In addition to the awards for the first, second and third
places in each discipline, age group and category, two
SPECIAL PRIZES will be awarded:
• SCHOLARSHIP for 1-year education *
• 1 to 3 weeks stay in St. Pölten *
AWARDS:
• Best choreography
• Future talent
Selected pieces / choreographies / numbers of the
contestants may be presented at the gala event
"International Ballet Meeting" on 8th July at the
Theater des Balletts.
*Announcement of the selection by the jury of the participating pieces / choreographies
/ numbers will take place on the announcement of the finalists on Saturday, July 07, 2018
(see schedule).

COMPETITION
RATING CLASSES:
- A - (Amateur): Hobby / leisure dancers from
schools / clubs / dance groups dance in all the
above mentioned age groups, categories and
disciplines.
-Pro- (Professional): Here, professional training
students, dance teachers, teaching staff
(regardless of pay) and pros in all age groups
and disciplines dance only in the categories
solo, couple and trio.

FOR COMPETITORS
In the first round, pieces / choreographies /
production numbers are selected by the jury.
These "qualified" dance performances will be
incorporated into the program and presented
in the gala.
FOR WORKSHOP PARTICIPANTS
As part of the workshop offer, choreographies
will be created during the lessons with all
participants, who will be integrated into the
program of the gala.
The performance takes place in the THEATER des Balletts, which has a capacity of 350 people. This
traditional event is very popular and mostly sold out.

Stage size: 12x6m (Theater des Balletts)
Spectator capacity 350 people
The Europaballett Conservatory St.
Pölten is located about 3 km outside
the city center and has 4 ballet rooms
+ stage. The Theater des Balletts has
the foyer and office space on the ground
floor. In the basement are 2 large changing
rooms available.
