Der Dämpfer am <strong>KTM</strong> Lycan nimmt die<br />

Kräfte direkter auf, reagiert sensibler auf<br />

kleine Unebenheiten und gibt bei großen<br />

Schlägen mehr Federweg frei. Auch an<br />

dem Rocker Blade haben die Ingenieure<br />

lange getüftelt, um es besonders verwindungssteif<br />

zu fertigen. Um das<br />

Straight–Line–Link (SLL) Konzept<br />

schlüssig zu vollenden, wurde bewusst<br />

auf den Lagerpunkt am Ausfallende verzichtet,<br />

um eine höhere Steifigkeit zu<br />

erreichen. Durch dieses Dämpfungssystem<br />

erreicht das Fully im 125 mm Segment<br />

spürbar mehr Vortrieb, der ursprünglich<br />

Racefullys vorbehalten war. Eine gelungene<br />

Verbesserung im <strong>Bike</strong> Handling wird<br />

mittels flacherem Lenkwinkel, steilerem<br />

Sitzrohrwinkel, längerem Sitzrohr und<br />

kürzerem Vorbau erreicht.<br />

The technology of the Lycan offers a<br />

very sensitive response to small bumps<br />

and a high absorption of big hits, while<br />

keeping high pedaling efficiency. The<br />

development team invested a lot of time,<br />

to shape the rocker blade extremely<br />

rigid to torsi- on. To conclusively<br />

accomplish the concept of the<br />

Straight–Line–Link (SLL) Technology,<br />

we deliberately set no bearing point at<br />

the dropout, which maximizes stiffness.<br />

Through this suspension-system the<br />

Fully achieves an astonishing amount of<br />

propulsion in the 125 mm class, which<br />

was originally reserved for Racefullies.<br />

An improved bike handling was realized<br />

through a more flat headtube angle,<br />

steeper seattube angle, longer toptube<br />

combined with shorter stem.<br />
