The ExoMars rover is off to the red planet in 2<strong>02</strong>0. The mission: exploration of the<br />
surface, in part with the help of a 3D panoramic camera. FAULHABER’s mission:<br />
the drive for the filter change system and focusing of the camera. The challenge:<br />
extreme conditions, extreme positioning tasks, extreme limitation in terms of<br />
installation space and weight. For the European Space Agency, stepper motors<br />
from FAULHABER were the clear choice.<br />
