Stroll across the lawn to the beachfront terrace, which has several pairs of chaise longues under umbrellas and a covered sitting area. A barbecue and jetted tub round out the outdoor living spaces. Inside, the villa has a TV, sound system and Wi-Fi access for evenings in, and heating, air conditioning and a fireplace for comfortable nights.
The open-plan living room, dining room and kitchen take advantage of the villa’s setting by opening to the terrace for beautiful water views. At one end of the living room, bergere chairs are tucked around a stone fireplace; at the other, a cozy sofa and wingback chair are pulled around the TV. The elegant carved-leg dining table can seat up to eight and is set, farmhouse-style, in the middle of the contemporary, fully equipped kitchen.
Each of the four bedrooms at Elounda Villa has air conditioning and a TV. There are two master suites with queen beds and en-suite bathrooms; one has a walk-in closet and sitting area as well. The other two bedrooms each have two twin beds. For families traveling together, a baby cot is available.
Though the villa is located right on the Gulf of Mirabello, you can also make the short 2.5-mile drive to Elounda Beach. The nearest towns are Elounda, just over a half-mile away, Plaka, 3 miles away, and Agios Nikolaos, 7 miles away. Catch a ferry at the ports of Heraklion, 45 miles away, or Sitia, 50 miles away, or a plane at Heraklion-Nikos Kazantzakis International Airport, a 43-mile drive, or Sitia Airport, a 50-mile drive from the villa.
