Target group: Local community,
which cannot use certain land
areas due to distance or inadequacy
for different cultivars, etc.
Develop support schemes for the
creation of natural reserves with
mixed functions aimed at the
formation of larger management
territories, by creating economies
of scale.

Consolidating agricultural
land in rural areas,
in the municipalities of:
Durres, Shijak, Tirana,
Kamez, Vore.
Reduce the fragmentation of
agricultural land in rural areas.
Develop the legal acts to allow
exchange or merger of agricultural
lands by farmers and local entrepreneurs.
Develop pilot projects for each
municipality for the consolidation of
agricultural and natural land.
Establish the Municipal Property
Fund for the reallocation of the land
use rights of agricultural land.
Unite dispersed parcels and group
them under large farms or cooperatives.
The aim is to consolidate parcels of
agricultural land not less than 7
hectares.

RP5 - Development
of the food chain
Revitalizing the water
supply system for
agriculture, using
regional reservoirs in
the municipalities of:
Durres, Shijak, Tirana,
Vore, Kamez.
Rehabilitate water reservoirs,
improve the supply system,
pumping and drainage system,
deepen basins from solid waste and
rehabilitate irrigation channels
infrastructure.
Develop a joint regional management
scheme to control regional
water assets.
