“Fermerë me Pamje nga Deti” pati qëllim që të shqyrtonte gjendjen e turizmit në katër fshatra malorë të Rivierës Shqiptare-Pilur, Kudhës, Qeparo Fshat dhe Himarë Fshat- dhe t’i përgjigjej pyetjes përse këto fshatra janë indiferentë ndaj të ardhurave prej turizmit, ndërkohë që fshatrat përgjatë bregut kanë një vërshim të parasë. Synimi: nxitja e këtyre fshatrave drejt turizmit nëpërmjet ideve të ndjeshme, me kosto të ulet dhe me rezultat të shpejtë.

Who gets paid?<br />
Money from the participants flows directly to the owners of guesthouses<br />
for accommodations. For a <strong>me</strong>eting space, an upgraded community center<br />
could take money for the gain of the whole village, or alternatively, a private<br />
citizen <strong>with</strong> a big yard could host a tent and be paid directly.<br />
What is needed?<br />
A retreat program would need a local organizer to make sure that quality<br />
is maintained at every step of the way. Companies and ministries want to<br />
make sure that retreaters are able to focus on their work and leisure ti<strong>me</strong>.<br />
A central <strong>me</strong>eting facility would be required, but based on examples that<br />
already exist in Albania, these don’t have to be fancy. Many of them take<br />
advantage of the natural environ<strong>me</strong>nt and even camp, and hold outdoor<br />
<strong>me</strong>etings. Ideally though a central <strong>me</strong>eting place would be established, in<br />
one of the old schools, or the community center near the village tree. Even<br />
so<strong>me</strong>one’s beautiful courtyard could hold a large tent under the grapevines<br />
where <strong>me</strong>etings could be held on a carpeted ground.<br />
