“Fermerë me Pamje nga Deti” pati qëllim që të shqyrtonte gjendjen e turizmit në katër fshatra malorë të Rivierës Shqiptare-Pilur, Kudhës, Qeparo Fshat dhe Himarë Fshat- dhe t’i përgjigjej pyetjes përse këto fshatra janë indiferentë ndaj të ardhurave prej turizmit, ndërkohë që fshatrat përgjatë bregut kanë një vërshim të parasë. Synimi: nxitja e këtyre fshatrave drejt turizmit nëpërmjet ideve të ndjeshme, me kosto të ulet dhe me rezultat të shpejtë.

Who gets paid?<br />
Participants would pay a small entry fee which would go to the organizers<br />
to cover their costs. These festivals easily gather 100 to 150 people for a<br />
weekend, and that is a huge economic bonus to any local restaurants or<br />
coffees. They would also pay to stay in houses. House owners could even<br />
invest in equip<strong>me</strong>nt, like mountain bikes and rent them to visitors for the<br />
weekend for direct cash.<br />
What is needed?<br />
An outdoor sports festival needs almost no money up front from the village.<br />
There are opportunities for direct inco<strong>me</strong> like offering transportation or<br />
selling souvenirs like t-shirts, which would require a little bit of up front<br />
planning and invest<strong>me</strong>nt. More than anything, hosts of the festival would<br />
appreciate a warm welco<strong>me</strong>, so<strong>me</strong> help organizing houses, and so<strong>me</strong> help<br />
cleaning up after it is over.<br />
