Dear Families,
Shalom,
As Jewish educators we continuously invest endless
efforts in creating meaningful learning experiences to
students in supplementary schools. Although aspects
of the Jewish life cycle are marked in the calendars, it is
important that year after year children are exposed to
new learning and knowledge to deepen and strengthen
their Jewish identity. That is what makes our school an
excellent supplementary school program.
As we resumed after Winter break our third and fourth
graders were introduced to their own Siddurim at
a Shabbat dinner and Siddur presentation. In that
occasion our students received a personalized Siddur
with a dedication from their parents to treasure it for the
generations to come. In addition, all students Kindergarten
through grade six had the opportunity to study and meet
with the Rabbi in a “Tour the Shul & Ask the Rabbi” session.
Students and families in grades five and six, also had their
Shabbat dinner, where they presented their insight about
the material learned for Parshat Ha Shavua and Hebrew
and Judaic topics. After baking and tasting Hamentaschen
for Purim our students re engage with Matzah and Mitzvah
learning for Pesach.

of nurturing our students with meaningful experiences that
renew and deepen their learning of Judaism while building
and enduring the essence of our traditions.
