Positive results from FERTIPLUS ®

BV, started a trial led by Jan van Dillen in 2011.
This study was intended to determine the positive results
of the use of FERTIPLUS ® in apple and pear breeding. They
used FERTIPLUS ® 4-3-3 for the apples and FERTIPLUS ®
4-2-10 for the pears. Additional nitrogen and ammonium
sulphate were also added.
A pear grower in the Bombarral area in Portugal, famous
for the pear ‘Pêra Rocha’, is very satisfied with FERTIPLUS ® .
Despite the difficult season, he could see the effects of our
FERTIPLUS ® . The quality is perfect with minimal losses
during harvesting. The vitality of the plant also ensures
that there were no problems with diseases or fungus.
The results were amazing. In addition to a higher yield
and increasing the fruit size, there was also a higher intake
of nutrients. In particular, the absorption of potassium,
calcium, magnesium, and silicon was visible in the fruit.
This was noticeable by the large size, improved hardness,
taste, colour, and longer shelf life. You could really see that
better mitosis had taken place. The use of FERTIPLUS ®
brings more organic life into the soil. Increasing the soil
life improves the absorption of nutrients. The structure
of the soil improves, which increases the air and water
permeability. The grower was very pleased with the
FERTIPLUS ® product.
