Letting the universe hand you messages and having the ability to receive them is the key. The past few months have taught me a lot, but mostly that my natural instinct to be in control is a much smaller part of the puzzle of influence that drives me than I had ever thought. That said, I am thrilled to see what tomorrow brings and thankful for yesterday’s lessons, and mostly inspired to continue my own journey of Designing My Life. Having the fashion shows at Cipriani was a glorious. And grand backdrop to the unexcelled talents displayed by so many amazing designers and performers. The whole of New York’s elite and fashion industry notables converged on the spectacular venue to witness over 20 designer shows, Kenn Gray in Miss Teen All-Star sash Kenn Gray and recording artist Michaelangelo- aka Pyro which certainly made their mark on the fashion world and its fans. Malan Breton opened the week’s magic with yet another ridiculously inspired collection followed by other show stopping collections by such names as Adrian Alicia, David Tupaz, and many others. Perhaps the most anticipated was the premier launch of new luxury collection by Bahmardi. Rich floral embroidery and bead-work by master craftsman in India sparkled on the flawless and innovatively designed pieces by designer Tuenaz Dumasia. As always, Style Fashion Week accented the shows with musical performances by Matthew Whitaker, Chris Stylez and an extended set or mini concert by recording artist, Amanda Holley who brought the house down!
