What is Salbutamol? 

Clenbuterol and Salbutamol are both medications are used for the treatment of breathing 

disorders.They are successful in doing this by actively stimulating the beta-2 receptors in 

the brain. Additionally, both medications can help the body lose weight through the 

process of burning fat. 

Salbutamol can also be used in a weight loss program as it has the same effect on the 

androgenic system as does exercise.It builds muscle mass and reduces overall weight. 

It has been used by bodybuilders to trim additional fat from areas in their body where it 

may be difficult to lose.

The initial usage of salbuterol powder inhaler is to improve breathing of asthmatics and 

patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. But, by the beta receptor activation, 

salbuterol is used for promoting rapid fat loss. The dosing levels by 2-4mg can be effective 

for fat loss, for maintenance of muscle during fat loss, and often for significant increase in 

endurance performance and/or slight increase in strength.

When taking an Salbutamol cycle for weight loss and bodybuilding properties, it is most 

often taken in a liquid or pill form. 

Although you can use an Salbutamol dry powder breath-actuated inhaler for weight 

loss if it is the only available option. 

To produce the correct effects and release the stimulating properties of the drug, users 

will need to take at least two milligrams up to four times per day. Doses last for up to 

approximately four hours. 

To jump start weight loss and utilize the stimulating effects of the medication, many 

bodybuilders will begin by taking several doses throughout the day at the beginning of 

use. 

There is no magic formula to the dosage and it may require some trial and error. 

The drug Ephedrine has almost the same half-life of about 3-6 hours as that of Salbutamol 

which indicates why the way you take each of them is similar. For the purpose of weight 

loss, the following points should be considered: 

Figure out your maximum dosage (Peak dose is defined as the highest dose that must be 

maintained in the body for the purpose of fat loss and it is usually achieved by slowly 

increasing the dose on a daily basis from a low to high value) 

Slowly increase the dosage value in the first 7 to 14 days of usage until the required peak 

value is obtained 

Finally, make that dose a constant value until the course of usage is discontinued. 

The dose of drugs is measured in different units. E.g. Clenbuterol is measured in 

micrograms (mcg) while Salbutamol is measured in milligrams (mg). 

If you are not familiar with dosing protocols or basic drug chemistry then it is important for 

you to understand that the units of measurement of these drugs or even other general 

body enhancement drugs are important to remember although it can become a bit 

confusing at times. 

An important point to remember is that any one of these analogue drugs when 

continuously used for a long period results in a decrease in the effect produced inside the 

body due to decreases in the number of receptors.


Like in other beta-2 receptor agonists such as Clenbuterol, it will over time slowly down 

regulate the beta-2 receptors. When receptors decrease, the effect of the drug also 

decreases. 

This is especially true in the case of body fat loss cycles where the drug is used each day. 

The end result decreases the effectiveness of Salbutamol in terms of fat loss. It takes 

about 15-30 days for this to happen, although the time may vary in different individuals. 

To deal with this issue there are two solutions: 

Simply go off of the drug for a specified period, 14 days or more. This gives time for the 

receptors to increase and come back to a normal value. 

Use of additional drugs like Ketotifen. Usage of this drug includes taking 2mg every night 

before going to sleep for about 7 days to up-regulate the receptors. This allows 

continuous usage of Salbutamol. 

Moreover, keep in mind that any of these stimulant drugs like Salbutamol or others should 

not be used for more than a period of 2 months continuously for fat loss purposes.

Indeed there are limitations to the usage of Salbutamol, just like most other fat loss 

compounds. Salbutamol is basically employed in burning fats, and as such, the kinds of 

Salbutamol cycles run are those that eventually lead to trimming down on fat levels, 

inducing leaning, and cutting. 

Anyone with some experience fat burning and muscle building would know that you 

scarcely see Salbutamol being used in bulking cycles. Bulking itself is a process that must 

be monitored and managed carefully. 

Some bodybuilders may engage Salbutamol (or Clenbuterol), in the trimming of the 

excess body fats that come with the calories consumed while undergoing a bulking cycle, 

but this will typically happen after the bulking cycle is completed. 

One must add however that it rarely happens that Salbutamol is used during bulking cycle 

for such purpose; bodybuilders use it rather for its stronger capacity to improve the 

metabolism of the muscles than most other stimulants including Clenbuterol.


This is one of the only reasons people actually use Salbutamol during bulking cycles. It is 

reasonable to think that Salbutamol cycle is a common exercise among bodybuilders, 

athletes, and users who do so to enhance their physical abilities. 

Any other use of Salbutamol apart from the muscle-enhancing role is purely directed 

towards the burning of fats. 

There are two Salbutamol dosage cycles we’ll go through below. Continuous use of 

Salbutamol for less than or equal to eight weeks is one way, and taking a two weeks on 

two weeks off cycle is another. 

Two weeks on and Two weeks off 

It is usual that during Salbutamol cycle, the body temperature goes high beyond the 

normal threshold; with active beta-2 receptors, however, the temperatures get restored to 

the normal baseline. This itself is a signal that the speed of the metabolism has slowed 

down. 

Cycles should not be run extensively for longer than 100 days if the individual involved 

observes seasonal breaks (like the 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off scheme) or for two 

months of constant continuous usage. 

Salbutamol can be combined with other steroids that enhance metabolism such as 

Trenbolone, Masteron, Primobolan, Anavar, Turinabol, and Winstrol. These extra steroids 

catalyze and promote the fat burning functions of Albuterol as much as they enhance lean 

mass. 

When running Salbutamol cycles, there is often the combination of such compounds as 

Triiodothyronine, which enhances fat burning. 

It is imperative to note that an it should not be run with the combination of stimulants like 

Clenbuterol or Ephedrine even if they promote fat loss. The reason for this is so that the 

side effects of the stimulants used together compounds their severity. 

Particularly regarding the increased effects that cause harm to the Central Nervous 

System and the cardiovascular system. Overall the stimulants are not advised to combine 

with the Salbutamol cycle.
