A Message
from Sam
For some of you it might feel like I have
dropped off the face of the earth. And
at times it has felt like that way for me
too............. And I feel like I owe you an
explanation to make sure everyone is clear.
Just over 18 months ago, UVG went into
partnership with National Veterinary Care
(NVC) to make sure the business continued to
go from strength to strength and it has done
just that. We have never had more active
members, enjoying a huge 183% increase in
rebate payments last financial year, with more
valuable industry partnerships and deals than
ever before.
We also have more clinics than ever
participating in one of our leadership and
training programs, be it either the Accelerated
Mastermind Program or the Complete Vet
System. In addition to this, many initiatives
have been developed and implemented to
ensure members have increased support
and opportunities to communicate with UVG
support staff and each other.
For the first time in nearly ten years, I had an
extended break over the Christmas period
to enjoy some quality time with my
family and friends and now I’m back on
deck and busily preparing for this year’s
Veterinary Business Bootcamp. It’s looking
to be the best event yet – you would be
crazy to miss it! This year my focus is going
to shift from the day to day operations to
contributing to the strategic direction of the
UVG business and to the development and
delivery of the Accelerated Mastermind
Program to help even more clinics have
amazing teams, profits and lifestyles. I’ve
recently handed over the day to day
operations of the UVG business to
Paula Sadler. Paula has been working in the
veterinary industry for several years
after a lengthy career working with many
memberships focussed organisations.
Paula will lead the operational team to make
sure the United Vets Group continues to be
the veterinary community that together,
achieves more.
I’m excited to see as many of you as
possible at this year’s Bootcamp and if
