Remodelers Council
Home Builders Association
of Iowa City
Vocational Training Council

Promoting the local remodeling industry by developing
programs to identify, refer, recognize, endorse, educate
and offer support to members. The council provides
opportunities to network locally, regionally and nationally
and coordinates the Iowa City area annual HBA Remodelers
Parade. Additional $55.00 membership fee applies.

Women’s Council

Phoebe Martin, Co-Chairs
Recognizes women in the home building industry. Programs
are designed to inform, educate, and offer assistance to
association members on various projects of mutual interest.
The Council meets once per quarter. Contact us about
sponsoring a program for luncheon meetings.
Aaron McGlynn, Chair
The Home Builders Association of Iowa City Vocational
Training Council assists and supports area schools in the
operation of their vocational training programs.
Land Development Council
Legislative Committee Activates as needed
The Land Development Council consists of members
involved in the land development segment of the building
industry. The Council was formed as a business league and
the primary purposes of the Council is to promote and
advocate equitable development standards by educating
local city and county officials about ordinances and policies
affecting land development. The Council strives to maintain
a high level of professionalism through continuing
governmental relations and representation. The Council
provides activities, such as education, communication and
other services for members of the Council and serves as an
advocate for the members of the Council.
