Golf Outing
Legislative
Dan Wegman, Chad Keune and
Marty Tunning Co-Chairpersons
Coordinates the annual golf outing. Tournaments will be
organized to accommodate all members and guests.
The Home Show
Michael Pugh
Recommends policies to the association on legislative,
regulatory and legal issues in Johnson County. Tracks
and monitors issues, explores options on ways to deal
with issues, bridges communications with local officials
and legislative leaders, endorses candidates for local
elections and actively recruits candidates for boards and
commissions. Discusses strategies and ways to get their
message across with the best possible result.

The Home Show is scheduled for February 9, 10, and 11, at
the Coralville Marriott and Convention Center. Consumer
education and How To displays will be some of the highlights.
Parade of Homes
Art Floss, Chairperson
Develops membership materials, promotes retention of
members and actively recruits new members. Call the HBA
office to learn how you can become a SPIKE!
Marketing/Events
Co-Chairs Mitchell Manning
and Dan Robertson
Works closely with all committees and special committees
such as the Parade of Homes, Remodelers Show and
The Home Show to assist in marketing these activities as
well as promoting public awareness of the industry. The
association has hired Ad Market Productions to promote
the Home Show and Parade of Homes.
Coordinates a scattered site showing of new homes in June.
Also coordinates activities (breakfast and awards ceremony,
luncheon and member tour) related to the Parade.
