News Guide to 2017 ANZAC Details of services across Sunday 9 April. The march Pittwater and further afield will depart Dee Why RSL Club to mark Anzac Day 2017 (some car park (in Clarence Avenue) of the organisers hold a march at 2.30pm for Dee Why Beach, and commemorative service with a Commemoration the Sunday prior to the actual Service from 3pm. The 2017 Anzac Day, or earlier, to allow Annual Dee Why Beach, Anzac Sub-Branch members to participate in events in the city or Ted Jackson Reserve, Dee Why Dawn Service will be held at elsewhere on Anzac Day). Beach, on Tuesday April 25; arrive 5.15am for 5.30am start. Avalon Beach RSL The dawn service at the Club will be held at 5am on Anzac Day and the Commemorative Service at 11am. The march will be forming at 10.45am at Avalon Beach Primary School before proceeding along Old Barrenjoey Road, turning left into Avalon Parade, right into Bowling Green Lane and then into Dunbar Park at the Cenotaph. Pittwater RSL The Club will be holding their Anzac Day on Sunday 23rd March, with a march to commence at 12.40pm at Vineyard street Mona Vale; the Sub- Branch will march to Mona Vale Park and the service will commence at 1pm. The Hon. Rob Stokes and Hon. Jason Falinski will be attending. On Anzac Day, a Dawn Service will commence at 5.20am at the New Cenotaph at the Lower carpark. (The Club will be having a Dedication Service for their New Cenotaph at 1pm on Friday March 31, with Rob Stokes and Jason Falinski opening the service and the Rev. Jason Ramsay and father George Kolodzeij performing the Dedication blessings.) Club Palm Beach Their march on Anzac Day begins from Pittwater Park to the Club from 10.45am (meeting from 10.30am). A commemorative service will be held outside the Club at 11am, followed by a luncheon for Members and ticketholders. Dee Why RSL Anzac Sunday will be held on Forestville Anzac Sunday (23rd) march and service starting on the corner of Starkey Street and Warringah Road at 2:40am followed by service at The Forest Club at 3pm. Anzac Day Dawn Service at The Forest Club at 5:30am for 5:40am start, followed by breakfast with a $2 per person donation or $5 per family of Mum, Dad and kids. Narrabeen RSL The Sub-Branch cordially invite all members of the local community to come along and watch the annual Anzac 10 APRIL 2017 Celebrating 25 Years

March participants are to assemble in the car park (at the Narrabeen Terminus, Berry Reserve) from 11am and the march will commence at 11:30am. The parade will proceed south along Pittwater Road to the Narrabeen Cenotaph, at the intersection of Pittwater Road and Ocean Street. Northern Beaches Council Manly’s ANZAC Day Commemoration and Wreath Laying Ceremony will be held at the Manly War Memorial on The Corso, commencing at 11am on ANZAC Day, Tuesday 25 April. A Dawn Service of Remembrance will also be held between 4.25am and 5am at the Manly War Memorial, The Corso, Manly. A separate Dawn Service at Manly Dam at the end of King St, Manly Vale, gets underway at 5.30am, hosted along with the Manly Warringah War Memorial Park Trust. The service will be followed by ANZAC biscuits, tea and coffee for a donation. Donations of cut rosemary will be gratefully accepted to be handed out at the services.
