and most innovative brand collaboration with unconventional
and irresistibly cheeky designs. Hot
dogs, sensual lips, eggs and herbs contaminate
the pushy styles of these hyper-realism Pop Artists.
Haute couture design becomes prêt-à-porter
loaded with a disruptive force that transforms any
object into a sculpture.
Blow and Un_Limited: Not just a collection of
objects. BLOW is a new multi-faceted design
brand, aimed at the concept of affordable design.
This new family of objects in a “pop” spirit includes
rugs, LED lamps, foldable chairs, a set of
porcelain plates and mirrors. Its first capsule collection
again highlights once more Seletti’s passion
for unconventional projects. Stefano Seletti,
the brand’s art director, explains: “I love working
with Job and Nynke. Since our first project Industry
Collection, three years ago, we decided this
collaboration should go further. And we decided
not to limit ourselves to single objects but rather
to create a whole new collection of brand new
items. At Seletti we love the idea of overturning
the concept of ‘exclusive’ and we relate it to standards,
which are different from mere economic
value. We transform exclusivity in to accessibility
for our customers’ personal tastes and culture.
Our collections can be hated or loved. There is no
middle ground!”

BLOW, Seletti & Studio Job explore
once more a new way of approaching design,
involving cutting-edge experiences and innovative
thinking. The whole concept of the BLOW
collection is driven by the will to offer design aficionados
dream-like objects created by the unmistakable
fantasy of Studio Job, allowing them to
furnish their homes with unique objects with an
affordable touch.Job Smeets enthusiastically says:
“Hey Design world! BLOW your heart out! This
year we’re really going for it! We feel strong, happy
The innovation and originality concepts are
also the core of Studio Job in exploring the
limitations between the design and art world. Studio
Job and Seletti decided to create a new design
project, wherein there is no room for limits
of whatever nature. Is it art? Is it design? Or is it a
sofa? That’s UN_LIMITED EDITIONS. Seletti’s
first venture into the upholstery world – namely a
sofa and an armchair – as well as the reinterpretation
of two lamps, which, in their art series, have
become some of the symbols of Job Smeets and
Nynke Tynagel’s philosophy. Stefano Seletti, art
director of the brand, comments: “There is nothing
more liberating for a brand like Seletti than
taking some precious art objects and transforming
them into something accessible to everybody. It
was a challenge for us to take the most interesting
art producers in the design world and conceive
with them a collection which accents the exclusivity
of art and preserving accessibility at the same
time. Job and Nynke were on board from the very
first moment in this crazy adventure. Our goal is
to let these new objects invade houses all around
the world”.
The Hot Dog and the Hamburger - global
icons of Pop food – are transformed into
actual furniture and form the “Fast Food Furniture”
collection: the open hot dog bun is the actual
structure of the sofa and it hosts an upholstered
sausage acting as a back cushion; likewise,
the hamburger bun features a seat in the shape of
a hamburger, a pickled cucumber as armrest and
a slice of tomato as back cushion. These flashy
new pieces, clearly inspired by the pop-side of
the American culture, are paired with two special
projects, which are the symbol of how precious
limited editions can become affordable. The
famous Banana Lamp, The Tiffany Tree and The
Cat Lamp, thanks to this new collaboration, are
transformed into something equally precious in
terms of design but at the same time affordable to
many more users.
