and farmland into a heritage<br />

GALA DAY<br />

<strong>The</strong> Mairehau Primary School<br />

gala is on this weekend. <strong>The</strong><br />

school is holding it to fundraise<br />

for a new sound system for<br />

the hall, which is also used by<br />

community groups. This year<br />

will feature bouncy castles, pony<br />

rides, mini-jeeps, photo booth,<br />

face-painting, crazy bikes, heaps<br />

of food stalls and entertainment<br />

from members of the school<br />

community. Special guests from<br />

Faerie Circle Christchurch and<br />

Darth Vader and his friends will<br />

be there too. Grab a special $20<br />

gala pass, which is a ticket for<br />

11 $2 activities, or buy single $2<br />

tickets on the day. <strong>The</strong> Gala Pass<br />
